5 students from our team volunteered as proctors for the Robofest event held at Gallimore Elementary School. There were 48 students there. It was great to see the teams we mentored participate at the event. We cheered them on!

Stoneridge is an engineering company that makes truck safety systems. 10 students from our team visited their headquarters and presented our robot. Then they let us go in their truck. While in the truck we learned what they put to make the truck more safe, like cameras to see all angles around the truck. They replace side mirrors with cameras so they can see all angles while driving the trucks.

Robotics Recap is the largest outreach event we organize. We invited all the FTC teams from our school district after the season was over. We presented our robots to each other, answered questions from other teams, and shared what we learned during the season. We also played friendly matches of Into the Deep with the 6 teams that attended.

We meet students  from the University of Michigan robotics club. We showed them our robot and all its abilities. Then they showed us what they were working on, a self-driving vehicle . They also showed a computer simulations for test  vehicles, they even let us drive the vehicle in the simulations, just if you were wondering not all our robotics team are good drives!
