About us

History

In 2021, the COVID-19 virus was raging around the world which caused our school to only have one FTC team; Infinity Tech. Our Coach Julien participated in Robofests with his children during this period of time and before. Coach Julien decided to launch his own new team with his kids, who already had some experience with Robofest. This is how Rocket Robotics was born.

Our team today! (2025-26 DECODE)

Our team, Rocket Robotics, is made up of 15 members, including 6 returning and 9 new members, guided by Coaches Julien and Nadiya and supported by our helpful parents. We’re organized into four main subgroups: Programming, Build, Design, and Business/Strategy. The Programming team handles all the coding, especially for the robot’s autonomous features, working closely with the Build group to make sure the software and hardware work together smoothly. The Build subgroup is responsible for assembling and maintaining the robot, while the Design team brainstorms new ideas and creates models to improve performance. The Business/Strategy group manages team outreach, fundraising, and logistics. This structure lets us collaborate effectively and tackle every part of the competition.
